A generous alumni donor contributed $20,000 to support Digital Learning and Open Learning and challenges another 628 (Floor(π x 200)) donors to exceed the donation.

Every gift made to MITx, OpenCourseWare, and Open Learning on March 13 will directly support our mission to transform teaching and learning at MIT and around the world with innovative and accessible resources for today’s learners.

Every day, more than 26,000 people use free educational materials available on MIT OpenCourseWare (OCW). For many, OCW is a lifeline in their pursuits to learn or grow their knowledge.

Whether our learners are high school students filling educational gaps or adults advancing their professional pursuits, OCW wants to continue to help people improve their lives by publishing and sharing these valuable materials and resources.

In order to keep meeting learners and educators where they are, with the latest, mobile-responsive resources, and updating our rich multimedia library, we need your support. Please give during the MIT 24-Hour Challenge to advocate for free and open access to knowledge from MIT.
