About UPOP
Since its founding 25 years ago, UPOP has been a gateway to success—a powerful career accelerator that prepares MIT sophomores for opportunities far beyond campus. Throughout its yearlong program, UPOP equips students with essential career readiness skills through one-on-one coaching, networking events, and its signature Team Training Workshop—an intensive, multiday, experiential-learning deep dive into teamwork, problem solving, and communication. Students also gain access to the exclusive UPOP Mentor and Employer Networks, which provide valuable opportunities to apply and sharpen their newly acquired knowledge and capabilities in real-world settings.
Your support will help build the next 25 years of empowering sophomores to thrive in their chosen professions. Give now to invest in the future.
*If you do not see a particular fund listed, you can donate on the MIT giving site and still be counted in the MIT 24-Hour Challenge.
