About This Microchallenge
The Environmental Solutions Initiative (ESI) is MIT’s institute-wide effort to address climate change and other environmental challenges of global import. ESI research programs unite MIT faculty with communities and policymakers in high-impact areas including mining, pollution abatement, natural climate solutions, and just economic transitions from fossil fuel production.
