About Student Wellbeing

Your gift to this challenge will support students in many ways, from providing an enriching environment that promotes student wellbeing to assisting students struggling with personal hardship.

  • The Student Life, Wellness, and Support Fund plays a critical role in supporting the out-of-the-classroom student experience and educating our students about living healthy and purposeful lives. This fund remains the primary vehicle for supporting much of the wellbeing work within and across the Division of Student Life (DSL).
  • A gift to the Student Residential Experience Fund will support art making and maker activities in student residences that will enrich our students’ time on campus.
  • The Good Samaritan/Mitzvah Fund, originally launched by the Class of 1954, has helped thousands of students address urgent financial needs related to travel, clothing, and other unexpected personal expenses.

Your gift to the Student Wellbeing Challenge on March 14 will help address ongoing efforts focused on student wellbeing, mental health, and support services at MIT.

*If you do not see a particular fund listed, you can donate on the MIT giving site and still be counted in the MIT 24-Hour Challenge.
